Pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) continues to be a major global health concern, particularly in high-burden countries like India, despite advancements in treatment. India carries the largest share of this burden, contributing to over one-fourth of all new cases each year. Pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) has been beneficial for certain chronic lung diseases, improving lung function, exercise endurance and QoL.
